What About Bob?
Bob Andersen was born in Tiffin, Ohio and raised outside of Detroit, Michigan before joining the United States Air Force during the Cold War in 1982, retiring in 2003. During his time in the USAF, Bob served as a Russian Linguist, Signal Analyst, and as aircrew on the RC-135. He has continually maintained his Security Clearance and currently works as a Subject Matter Expert for one of our nation’s leading defense contractors. Bob also recently formed the Defense Scientific and Technical Services, a non-profit organization geared toward providing defense-related scientific and technology research.
Bob was fortunate to have been stationed at Offutt Air Force Base on three separate occasions. During his first tour of duty at Offutt, Bob met his beautiful wife. Julie Andersen is an Omaha native and die-hard Cornhusker fan. When he retired from the USAF, they knew there is no place like Nebraska and have made this home ever since.
